On stage at the Camp Fire Columbia Campfire Columbia gala, “Spark the Future,” president and CEO Josh Todd envisions a future where every young person can be fully themselves, free from threat or fear, with the power to shape the future in their own hands.

Camp Fire Columbia serves over 3,500 kids annually in the Portland metro area, with a mission to build caring, confident youth and future leaders. Providing a safe space where all are valued, belong, and thrive, they give kids the opportunity to find their spark, lift their voice, and discover who they are.

Hosted at the Ecotrust, Redd on Salmon event space, this year gala was an exploration of the future and a journey into the next century of possibilities. It also celebrated the 100th anniversary of Camp Namanu, one of the largest and oldest youth camps in the region, located on the banks of the Wild and Scenic Sandy River.
