Back to school is a collection of photographs of school children taken in K-12 classrooms and playgrounds around the country. Educational photography is a specialty I’ll never tire of. Being in schools always triggers memories that tickle my heart. What school memories come up when you look at these photographs? During my last school photography assignment I remembered passing notes in 8th grade geometry class. One time, instead of passing a note by the traditional kid, to kid, to kid method, I used a  crumble up and throw technique. My aim wasn’t good and the note landed at the teachers feet. He opened it up and read it aloud to the class. I’ll never forget how red my friend’s face turned and how hard we all laughed.
