Photography Built on Connection, Timing, and Authenticity
I’m a conference and event photographer based in Portland and working with clients across the United States. For more than fifteen years I’ve photographed conferences, conventions, leadership programs, and corporate events for associations, companies, nonprofits, and professional communities.
My work is built on a simple belief: the strongest photographs come from paying close attention and being fully engaged with the people, the energy, and the rhythm of a room. This is how I create images that reveal authentic interaction and the moments that define an event’s character.
One of the biggest benefits I provide clients is peace of mind. The peace of mind that every key moment is being covered with care, consistency, and professionalism, so you can stay focused on running your event.
How I Work
Years of experience in fast-moving conference environments have sharpened my instincts to anticipate what’s coming next. I move quietly and with purpose, finding angles that show both individual moments and the larger story of your event. I’m comfortable navigating large crowds, back-of-house access, C-suite environments, complex schedules, and programs with simultaneous sessions.
I’m warm, easy to talk to, and genuinely interested in the ideas, people, and communities I photograph. People often say they feel relaxed around me, which helps create images that feel natural and true. Whether I’m photographing a keynote, breakout room, networking reception, or executive portraits, my focus is always the same: connection, energy, and authenticity.

What You Can Expect
Working with me means having a photographer who becomes part of your team. I’m flexible, prepared, and dedicated to delivering results you can rely on. I pay attention to the details that matter: good light, natural expression, real engagement, and the unscripted moments that make an event memorable.
After the event, I take the time to edit and refine your images so they’re ready for marketing, communications, sponsorship, and future event promotion. Your photographs will support your brand and help your message reach beyond the walls of the conference.
Why It Matters
Photography plays a larger role in events than most people realize. Strong imagery elevates visibility, strengthens community, and helps your organization stand out. Whether you’re building your speaking business, promoting a program, supporting membership growth, or reinforcing sponsor relationships, the right photographs make a difference.
My goal is to create images that inspire recognition and trust, and represent your organization at its best.
